Mayyat ki Maghfirat ki Dua is a prayer for the forgiveness of the deceased in Islam. It is a practice deeply rooted in Islamic teachings to seek forgiveness and mercy for those who have passed away. 

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un”

Translation in English: Verily we belong to Allah, and verily to Him do we return

“بے شک ہم اللہ کیلئے ہیں اور ہمیں اسی کی طرف لوٹنا ہے”

This Phrase is recited upon hearing about the demise of a person, serving as a reminder of our transient nature and submission to Allah’s will. اللهُـمِّ اغْفِـرْ لِحَيِّـنا وَمَيِّتِـنا، وَشـاهِدِنا وَغائِبِـنا ، وَصَغيـرِنا وَكَبيـرِنا ، وَذَكَـرِنا وَأُنْثـانا . اللهُـمِّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْـتَهُ مِنّا فَأَحْيِـهِ عَلى الإِسْلام ، وَمَنْ تَوَفَّـيْتَهُ مِنّا فَتَوَفَّـهُ عَلى الإِيـمان ، اللهُـمِّ لا تَحْـرِمْنـا أَجْـرَه ، وَلا تُضِـلَّنا بَعْـدَه

Maghfirat ki Dua Reciting Meaning and Objective

• Recite the phrase “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un”
